The Campaign

My responsibility as president of robotics is not only to make sure that every group stays organized and up-to-date, but also to serve as a communicator and negotiator who makes sure that all process and information between groups stays as smooth as possible.

My mission statement is to do all of that to build the best robotics team possible. Through the use of effective communication, complete transparency, and the willingness to work hard, I am ready to serve you, the robotics member into a better future for Hill Country College Preparatory High School Robotics.

Communication - Communicating with not only other departments but you as well is critically important. My presidency is going to prioritize keeping everybody updated on what is happening from department to department and even from leader to leader.

Transparency - By electing me as your president, you are not only giving me the responsibility to lead as well as possible, but to serve and be as clear as possible as can be for you. By making sure that all major decisions are communicated back to you, you can rest assured that you are always up-to-date with the decisions being made.

Willingness - A willingness to learn, a willingness to admit when you are wrong, and how to grow from that is an important skill to have. As president, I will make sure that I never get a big head, and I will always put the robotics member first when it comes to decision-making. As president, I will also make sure to listen to feedback from my council, as well as feedback from you to ensure that I am doing the best job possible representing you.

One of the ways I will implement all of this is by hosting and keeping track of an online resource platform that will house all of our Robotics needs. From live Gantt trackers to basic resources like the BEST rulebook and the build plans for the field, all of the essentials that robotics needs to function will be hosted and managed by me under my presidency.
